I'm a guitar and bass player based in Southern California, specializing in jazz, funk, and blues. Music has been central to me as long as I can remember, and I've been immersed in the professional world for my entire adult life. I've had the privilege of studying under musicians like Max Bennett, Joey Sellers, and Will Brahm, while also learning the philosophies and techniques of Barry Harris, Mark Levine, and Gary Lindsay. When I’m not playing, composing, or arranging, you’ll usually find me tucked away in a library or coffee shop, digging deeper into the theory and history of the craft itself.

As an educator, I specialize in teaching guitar and bass at any level from complete beginners all the way to seasoned professionals, as well as piano for beginning to intermediate students. My lessons focus on building vocabulary, developing technique, and sharpening listening skills. I try to create a relaxed and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. I take pride in making complex musical concepts approachable, and I guide students from the ground up using a mix of theory, technique, and their favorite songs to help them not just play the music, but understand how it's built.
